BIKES

I have just finished a project with W Hotels and The Elton John Aids Foundation.
I worked with Patrick Cox, Ron Arad, Natasha Law, Alice Temperley and Paloma Faith to produce bikes that guests at the Leciester Square W Hotel could use as well as enjoy as artworks. In October they will then be auctioned by EJAF.
In addition I was asked to produce a bike for W Hotels in New York and not make it too Statue of Liberty and Yellow Cab kitsh. I used the Manhattan Grid as a starting point.
The other starting point for the 6 bikes I produced was the iconic modern classic 14 Bike Co. ESB frame and forks designed by Edward James.

GOODWOOD 2011

I was very kindly invited by Honda to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Its very noisy in the paddocks/pits but lovely to be so close to the machines and able to watch the mechanics tinker.
Sneaky stealth photo of two young japanese drivers.
I went with a friend and his son, Sol. He went all weird and quiet and confused when he saw Lightning McQueen.

THIS WAS AMAZING- ARTIST GERRY JUDAH
FABRICATED BY LITTLEHAMPTON WELDING-I saw the work being produced in the workshop over the last few months whilst I have been working on my JCB project.
JOB WELL DONE!!
These 4ft diameter tubes weren't long enough so had to be butted together...
FULL PEN welds.
JPS
Frighteningly quick but crumby body kit.
Whilst they say the E-type Jag is the most beautiful car of all time I would much rather have one of these.
