










Following my other BMW bonnets, I did the bodywork myself: the eyes had to be cut out and filled and the mouth had to be skimmed over. I then gave the bonnet to a garage I have used before to spray it fluro orange. A disaster- the bodyfiller bled through. They charged me too. I had to take it back down to the bare metal and start again. I was livid but Louis sorted it out. It was a good exercise in if you want something done properly... The bonnet turned out OK after I compounded it but there was a couple of areas where the filler still bled through. Spraying is hard. The skull was hand painted on.
